We have restored many examples of this model and usually stock some GTE’s in various states of restoration ready for their next lucky custodian.
We have bought a number of original 250 GTE’s in recent years. The cars “can only be original once” and we are keen to ensure these cars are restored correctly in case a lesser standard of work is undertaken elsewhere which may compromise their originality.
This car was a particularly exciting project as it had never left Basel! It was originally delivered brand new by Peter Monteverdi, who in the 1960’s was the world’s youngest official Ferrari importer in Basel.
The car was amazingly original and it was a privilege for us to bring this car back to showroom condition, sympathetically preserving the originality of the car.
A particular favourite of ours; we look after a number of Ferrari Daytona models for clients, indeed our Chairman owns a fantastic original example which is acknowledged as a reference for originality.
